Do you remember way back in the olden days when we would receive a very fat envelope full of letters once a month from everyone in the family? Wasn't it fun to read about each family unit in the Kingdom of Crowley, hear their thoughts, read their jokes, catch up on what they were doing? Isn't it great to have those letters still today? What a great family history!
Isn't it time to resume this great practice of staying in touch? We can bring the idea of the family letter into the 21st century with the latest technology, that I believe Heavenly Father has provided for us to bless our lives.
We can share letters, pictures, videos, recipes, smilesboxes, music and much more! It might also be a friendly, happy place to share information. Additionally, if you wish, once a year, you can publish this blog into a book that you can hold in your hands and treasure forever.
And this is how it would work. First of all, this blog would be PRIVATE. Only those who have been given access can read and contribute to the blog. Secondly, only once a month, maybe on Fast Sundays, everyone would be invited to contribute one "post" to the blog. This can be a summary of what you have been doing the past month. It can be short or long. You choose. It could be simply one picture...anything!
I promise if you do this you will feel like you know better than ever before what everyone is doing. We will be able to celebrate all the good things together. We will also be more in touch with each other's hearts.
So Crowley Gang, what do you say? Let's start a Kingdom of Crowley Blog.....
